Sarah is one of the brightest and hardest working that I have come across. During her internship, Sarah was tasked with not only ensuring operational excellence for various LSU Athletics sporting events, but also with developing marketing strategies to recruit new staff members. Sarah developed plans to market with local businesses, social media postings and developing referral programs to help recruit staff. By utilizing these methods, Sarah helped grow a staffing base that had been depleted during the Covid-19 Pandemic from 600 staff members to over nearly 1000 staff members.

During the spring of my sophomore year in 2022, I thrived while learning and growing as an intern with Landmark Event Staffing Services (now known as Allied Universal). Taking a position on the management and operations side of the Landmark team was an experience in which I dove into blindly, yet resulted in provisional opportunities of a lifetime. Yes- I performed 30+ hours of routine office work during an average week including managing the hiring process of security staff by reviewing resumes, conducting interviews, submitting background checks, and organizing paperwork within an online database; scheduling staff; and completing payroll after events worked by our staff… but YES- I also served as an assistant manager of security staff at LSU athletics events, on-campus concerts including performances by Garth Brooks and Lil Baby, as well as for special events such as the NCAA Final Four Tournament in New Orleans that spring (pictured.)
