Sincerely, Sbryan is who I am, bits and pieces of who I was, and hopefully an open reflection of the individual I seek to become. As I set intentions for this compilation, I could not seem to emphasize the words authenticity, genuineness, transparency, and sincerity (naturally) enough. I aspire for my writing and work to be representative of who I am and what I value to my core. As a female in my early 20s, it’s no secret that I am far from having life “figured out,” and with this, I find myself excited to bring others along on my journey of navigating new adventures in hopes of offering pieces of love and guidance along the way. My brain is constantly in motion, so organizing my thoughts, ideas, stories, creative efforts, and potential contributions to others all in the same place has been a seemingly impossible feat until this brainchild of mine.

  • I have worked with congressional interns for six years, and students like Sarah are the ones who excel. Sarah quickly absorbed a task and acted on it. She would ask appropriate questions and complete each project in a timely manner. She quickly established herself among her fellow interns, and I noticed that staff would often call on her to assist with their time-sensitive projects. Despite this pressure, Sarah was still able to manage her time wisely while producing high-quality work that reflected her attention to detail.

  • Sarah is one of the brightest and hardest working that I have come across. During her internship, Sarah was tasked with not only ensuring operational excellence for various LSU Athletics sporting events, but also with developing marketing strategies to recruit new staff members. Sarah developed plans to market with local businesses, social media postings and developing referral programs to help recruit staff. By utilizing these methods, Sarah helped grow a staffing base that had been depleted during the Covid-19 Pandemic from 600 staff members to over nearly 1000 staff members.
